Copper-cladded Steel Wire

Copper-cladded steel wire is produced by electroplating copper onto soft or hard steel wire, combining the electrical conductivity of copper with the mechanical strength of steel. The copper layer and steel core are firmly bonded, providing durable performance under heat and mechanical processing.

    Feature

    +

Made by electroplating cooper upon soft or hard steel wire. It is featured with fine conductibility, mechanical strength and flexibility. The copper layers and steel core are well knit and perdurable in heat and mechanical treatment.

    Application

    +

Used as the lead of different kinds of electronic components like resistor, capacitor and semi-conductor, etc; conductor of cables (single or stranded); lead of electric lightings like 2-sector or 3-sector of lead wire for incandescent bulb and fluorescent tubes.

    Available Size

    +

    Dia. 0.40-1.20mm
Remarks: The thickness of copper layer can be adjusted between 20%-40% based on the conductivity required by the purchaser.
