Feature
High-purity tungsten wire (99.95% tungsten), doped with K₂O, SiO₂, and Al₂O₃, provides enhanced physical properties such as improved tear resistance, stable electrical resistivity, and controlled surface roughness. The surface is coated with a layer of graphite, giving the wire a matte black appearance.
Application
The heat-resistant tungsten wires are designed for use in the production of heated laminated glass for the automotive market.
• These tungsten wires are attached to PVB sheets through localized heating and pressure.
• The prepared PVB sheets are then assembled within bent glass to create the final product.
Physical properties
The electric resistance of the tungsten wire has a tolerance of +/-3 % of its nominal value. The resistance of the wire is defined as the resistance measured at 20 °C.
