High Pressure Mercury Lamp Electrode

High-pressure mercury lamp electrodes are components used in high-pressure mercury lamps, which are high-intensity gas discharge light sources operating with mercury vapor sealed in a quartz discharge tube and outer glass envelope, where the electrodes initiate and maintain arc discharge under mercury vapor pressures of approximately 2–15 atmospheres to generate visible and ultraviolet radiation.
