Metal Halide Lamp Electrode

Metal halide lamp electrodes are components used in metal halide lamps, which are high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps whose light generation is based on the radiation produced by metal halides and their dissociated atoms in combination with mercury vapor during gas discharge, where the electrodes initiate and sustain a stable arc to enable the recombination reactions between metal atoms and halogen ions that produce high-intensity visible light.
