The market size of China's electronic glass industry grew from 30.8 billion yuan in 2018 to 50.2 billion yuan in 2023, with an average annual compound growth rate of 10.25%. The size will reach 55 billion yuan in 2024.

On November 10, the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) concluded successfully in Shanghai.

Over six days, nearly 3,500 exhibitors and around 800 procurement groups participated with enthusiasm and returned with fruitful results. On an annual basis, the intended transaction value of this year’s expo reached $80.01 billion, marking a 2.0% increase compared to the previous edition.

This year’s CIIE featured 3,496 exhibitors from 129 countries and regions, surpassing the previous edition in both the number of participating countries and exhibitors. Among them, 297 were Global Fortune 500 companies and leading industry enterprises, setting a new record.

The 2024 East China Cross-border E-commerce New Growth Conference was recently held in Wu Zhong at the Taihu International Conference Center. The event focused on simplifying international trade for businesses, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI for foreign trade. Organized by Alibaba International Station, it attracted a wide range of participants looking to explore new growth opportunities in cross-border e-commerce​

The 2024 Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) takes place from June 9 to June 12 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. This event, held alongside the Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology Exhibition (GEBT), will cover 260,000 square meters and feature over 3,383 exhibitors.

The sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai showcased a global convergence of exhibits, marking a significant milestone in fostering international cooperation and trade. Various items from Pacific Island nation Vanuatu, New Zealand's Manuka honey, venison, wine, and cheese, alongside a "green" tire from Michelin, embarked on long journeys by sea, air, and rail to reach the expo.

Executives from participating enterprises gathered in Shanghai, where over 150 countries, regions, and international organizations contributed to this expansive event. Spanning 367,000 square meters, this year's expo hosted a record 289 Fortune 500 companies and leading businesses, many of which are recurring participants.
