2025 China International Import Expo
On the 8th of November, our team visited the China International Import Expo to gain first-hand insight into the event’s scale, energy, and global reach.
This year’s Expo centered on boosting exports to China, attracting investment, and stimulating domestic consumption. A series of matchmaking events, closed-door business discussions, and consumer-focused initiatives strengthened links across trade, investment, and spending, further expanding the Expo’s role as a key platform for global economic exchange.
Sixty-seven countries, regions, and international organizations took part in the National Exhibition, which covered 30,000 square meters and featured more than a hundred events. Senior officials from 19 countries attended, and exhibitors presented a wide range of products—from Colombian coffee and Nigerian sesame to Swedish smart bearings and green heavy trucks. Several countries reached new cooperation deals with Chinese companies, including agreements on coffee and seafood trade. China’s pavilion highlighted major achievements from the 14th Five-Year Plan period, drawing strong interest with displays such as the CR450 high-speed train, the C919 passenger jet, and early concepts for 6G aerospace-integrated applications.
The corporate exhibition reached a new high in both scale and participation, bringing together more than 4,100 companies from 138 countries and regions, including 290 Fortune Global 500 firms. Over 460 new products, technologies, and services debuted at the Expo, reflecting strong momentum in biomedicine, green technology, advanced equipment, and artificial intelligence. Consumer-oriented innovations—from smart hearing aids and sleep systems to pet-care products and customized fitness solutions—also drew attention, alongside popular specialty foods from Africa and Latin America.
Nearly a hundred multinational corporations and business associations sent high-level delegations, with several CEOs personally leading their teams. Some companies even held executive meetings on site, underscoring their confidence in the Chinese market and signaling a deeper, long-term commitment to expanding their presence in China.
