2025 Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition

2025-06-12

The 30th Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE 2025) officially opened on June 9 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, marking three decades of leadership in Asia’s lighting industry. This milestone edition introduced the groundbreaking “Illuminnovation Lab” series — a year-round platform designed to foster collaboration, spark innovation, and accelerate the application of cutting-edge lighting technologies.

Beyond the four-day main event, GILE 2025 expands its reach with a rich calendar of focus groups, research forums, technical lectures, and business matchmaking events held in key cities nationwide. These activities aim to connect industry players, encourage forward-thinking dialogue, and inspire new ideas that respond to evolving market needs.

In partnership with the Guangzhou International Building Electrical Technology Exhibition (GEBT), the combined event spans 250,000 square meters and hosts over 3,100 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions. Together, they showcase the full lighting ecosystem — from innovative products to the latest technological advances — creating a vibrant international hub for trade, knowledge exchange, and trend forecasting.

With rising consumer expectations shifting towards value-driven and experience-focused lighting solutions, the market is undergoing a transformation. No longer just about product output, the industry is embracing precision and creativity to serve diverse customer segments and complex lighting scenarios.

To commemorate its 30th anniversary, GILE has teamed up with Guangzhou Aladdin IoT Network Technology Co., Ltd. to launch the “Guangya Tour” series. This ongoing campaign kicked off before the exhibition and will continue nationwide, promoting cooperation, innovation, and fresh ideas that will shape the future of lighting.
