The 31st Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE)

The 31st Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) took place at Area A and B of China Import and Export Fair Complex from June 9 to 12. Under the theme "Light Enhanced Living – Innovate for Shared Future, Dare to Surpass", the show ran alongside Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT), ranking among the world’s largest professional exhibitions for the lighting industry.

Spanning 210,000 sq.m, the exhibition gathered 2,802 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions. It covered the full industrial chain including commercial lighting, smart lighting, cultural tourism lighting, outdoor lighting and aquatic lighting solutions. Special zones including the Guzhen Lighting Capital Pavilion and Cultural Tourism Visual Exhibition were arranged to showcase cutting-edge lighting products, innovative designs and intelligent systems.

Centered on four core application scenarios: household, commercial, urban and cultural tourism lighting, the event hosted more than 100 technical seminars, design workshops and procurement matchmaking sessions. Hot topics such as smart lighting environments, low-carbon lighting and immersive cultural tourism lighting were widely discussed, forming a comprehensive platform for technical exchange and global business cooperation.

The show welcomed professional visitors from 164 countries and territories, including global brand operators, engineering contractors, distributors and manufacturers. Multiple on-site matchmaking activities connected suppliers with buyers efficiently, facilitating international trade and order cooperation.

As a bellwether for the lighting sector, the 31st GILE reflected the industry's shift from single lighting products to scene-based integrated solutions. It boosted cross-industry collaboration and resource integration, supporting enterprises to seize emerging market opportunities and advancing high-quality innovative development of the global lighting industry.
